My Latest Discovery In Saving MONEY!!!
I am so excited to share with you my latest find!!!!
This is the COOLEST website I have found to help you save time and money on your weekly grocery bill. The meals are from Mom's just like you and I. Kid tried and tested and approved!! My grocery bill for the two of us, for last week, (are you ready???) $37.75!!
Each week I print out a meal plan and a grocery shopping list to go with that meal plan. Makes my life so much easier and less time consuming!
Check out the website and see what kind of meals you and your family can try! You can also choose from many different grocery outlets, as well...like Walmart, Aldi's, and more!! You can choose meal plans for Two; meals for a family of Six; or how about meal plans for those of us who are on a Points Program!
I would highly recommend this site to you and your family, or ANY family that is looking to save some money!!!

You actually pay for this..?
I feel better in general when I work with a menu too,it cuts time and saves money.
@MomGoneMadd@xanga - Yes. $5.00 / month. They make up your menu plan based on what is on sale at the store of your choice when you sign up. For me, I love it because it helps me figure out what to cook ahead of time, and I can go in with a complete grocery list (for all ingredients for each meal) and shop the savings already found for me at my store of choice. For $5.00 a month, to me, it is worth it!
@CH1216 - Thats cool. Somehow I have managed to feed a family of 5 breakfast, lunch(for school and snacks) and dinner for about 100 bucks. I dont know why I say somehow, I know how.
@MomGoneMadd@xanga - Is that $100 a week? If so, that is pretty good!! :)
@CH1216 - Yes, a week!! We stopped shopping at the grocery chain I worked at for 18 years and went to their competitor and I cant believe how much cheaper groceries cost. It was hard to shop there after years of retail clerks union brainwashing but now I'm ok. =)
@MomGoneMadd@xanga - That's really good per week! You should write up a blog on how you do that for a family of 5!! I love getting tips like this from other people!
@guestbrief@xanga - I was able to sign up for the Points Program, for meals for two. That way I can stick with my Weight Watchers meals, and still make some good meals for hubby!! I love the idea that it not only creates a menu for you, but it gives you the recipes and the shopping list for the weeks menu!! And the shopping list is generated from the sale items from the store of your choice! How much more simple and cost effective could this be??? For $5.00 A MONTH!!!! :)
@CH1216 - It helps a lot. I used to do this back when my upper limit was 50/week. Thanks for sharing!
I recently started using E-mealz and I LOVE it too!
